Going for a hike on the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is always a brilliant adventure, and whitewater paddling is great on Ontonagon River. In case you don’t have a problem getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch; dry warm beds await you at Settle Inn & Stes       Eagle River. Devils Head Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Bear Campground is a great local campground. Devils Head Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. You believe that's sufficient? Just getting warmed up. Near Devils Head Lake you locate the Anvil Lake Trail System which is a great hiking trail; if you've had enough of Devils Head                  Lake, Trapper Lake is nearby. For the period of the summer months here at Devils Head Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are frequently in the 10's, and night lows in the-10's for Devils Head Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
