     Camping is available at Fox River Campground; a picturesque lake like Spruce Lake is a fine place to take a look at. Deerfoot Lake is a good location of normal rain; the month with most of the rain is September; February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Owl Lake is a good lake in the vicinity of Deerfoot Lake, and a delightful close by hotel is Econo Lodge Lakeshore.
Camping at Stanley Lake Campground is always a great experience, and
 
   there's some flowing water nearby, Casey Creek is a stream you can go to while you're here. For the period of the months of summer here at Deerfoot Lake, high temperatures frequently reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the wintertime the highs are generally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Deerfoot Lake are in the 0's.

Most sites are grassy and have a mix of sun and shade and are mostly level with some having pads for the large RV's; there are pull throughs too.  We welcome big rigs, tents and anything inbetween!  We have some excellent spots to situate a group camping atmosphere or family reunion.  If you are a bird watcher, we are 3 miles south of Seney National Wildlife Refuge and offer canoe/kayak rentals through the refuge. Pets are welcomed with courtesy rules enforced.  Reservations are welcomed...
