If you came for an overnight stay Pontiac Lake Recreation Area is a glorious spot to camp, and a good close by hotel is Comfort Inn Waterford. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. You can see Waterford Hill from Deer Lake, and why not head up to Mount Holly and strap some skis to your feet. You'll meet a lot of folks from Detroit-Warren-Livonia       here. The yearly rainfall here at Deer Lake is about average; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Near Deer Lake you stumble on a golf course called Shepard Hollow Golf Course; lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Middle Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
