This lake is so wonderful. From Deer Lake you acquire a nice view of Pilot Knob, and you can hit the slopes at Marquette around here. From a rainfall point of view Deer Lake is a relatively typical site; the month with most of the rain is September, and the driest month is February.       There are other locations here than Deer Lake, for example Baby Lake, and why not camp at Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds while you're here at Deer Lake. All through the warm months here at Deer Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 70's, and the night is slightly chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Deer Lake are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Carp Creek is a pretty                  stream that is worth visiting, and during your journey here you'll meet some folks from Marquette for sure. No need to travel far to check out exciting stuff like Last Bluff, and a great spot to camp here at Deer Lake is Country Village RV Park. That right there is a load already, but it keeps on going; Deer Lake has it all. Not far from Deer Lake, you'll discover Little Lake which is a beautiful lake, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Country Inn.
