Beautiful Deer Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious place to camp here at Deer Lake is Rivers Bend Campground; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Iron Mountain is a great choice. Camping at Iron Mountain Campgrounds is always a glorious experience, and there's whitewater on Menominee River for all you adrenaline people.
While you're here at Deer Lake you can play some golf at Timberstone Golf Course, and get your heart

You can observe Trader Hill from Deer Lake, of course you could also go to Bass Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. The annual rainfall here at Deer Lake is about average; June is the wettest month with most rain,
and February is when it's the driest. What a place this is for outdoors folks. While you're here at Deer Lake you will meet lots of folks from close by Iron Mountain, and Deer Lake is not the only location nearby, Moon Lake is a nearby lake.
