The beauty of Deer Lake attracts many people from all around. There's so much to do here at Deer Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lakes Of The North Campground is a nice spot for that; Boyne Mountain is a very popular ski area in the vicinity. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Deer Lake has to offer, you can camp at Tourist Park-east Jordan, and why not head up to Nubs Nob and strap some skis to your feet. This lake is so wonderful. Mountain Run at Boyne is a wonderful site to get some rest; a golf course close by is Scottland's Yard Golf Course. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Bear River; after a long day outdoors Boyne Mountain Resort is a good spot to spend a night or two.
