A lake nearby is Straits Lake; you can stay the night at Hiawatha Resort and Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Deep Lake you stumble on the Valley Spur Ski Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Munising is a fine choice. Deep Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is September while February is commonly the driest month. There is       a pleasant hiking trail right next door to Deep Lake called the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. There's so much to do here at Deep Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wide Water Campground is a splendid place for that. Corner Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; after a long day outdoors AmericInn Munising is a glorious spot to spend a night or two. Whitewater paddling is good on Au Train River. During the summer months at Deep Lake highs are ordinarily                  in the 70's while nighttime lows are commonly in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are usually in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Deep Lake. Whohoo, so many cool things in one place! Deep Lake is peerless!
