Lakes are tremendous; Hugoboom Lake is a lake that's next to Deep Lake. Good hiking is available along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. There's so much to do here at Deep Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wide Water Campground is a perfect place for that. Throughout the warm days of summer highs here at Deep Lake reach the 70's. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. High       temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Deep Lake drop into the 0's. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Deep Lake; Valley Spur Ski Trail is a fine local trail, and you're possibly into lakes, Pike Lake is one of those close by. Man, is there a load of fun things to do next to Deep Lake. Go for a hike on the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail, and a spree to Pictured                  Rocks National Lakeshore is worthwhile. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Au Train River. This lake is so wonderful.
