From a precipitation point of view Dayton Lake is a reasonably common spot; the wettest month of the year is mostly September,       that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest. A tremendous place to camp here at Dayton Lake is Fuller's Clear Lake Resort; after a long day outdoors Super 8 South Bend is a great site to spend a night or two. While you're here at Dayton Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Niles-Benton Harbor, and lakes are such calm spots, why not stop by Pike Lake. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Dayton Lake. Throughout                  the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Dayton Lake tend to be in the 10's.
