Black Bear Lodge is a pleasant location to get some rest; Ontonagon River is a splendid whitewater spot close by. Not far from Dawn Lake, you'll come across Down Lake which is a beautiful lake, and there's some flowing water close by, Holly Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay. Through the summer, highs usually are in the 70's at       Dawn Lake. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 10's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Dawn Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dawn Lake is a fine site to visit for more than one day, Pomeroy Lake Campground is a fine site to camp nearby, and if you need a spot to stay Comfort Inn Minocqua is a glorious choice. Dawn Lake is a good place of normal precipitation; of all the months in a year August is the                  one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors enjoyable things the area close to Dawn Lake has to offer.
