You truly must love Davis Lake. A striking lake like Stevens Lake in the neighborhood of Davis Lake is a great spot to have a look at, and you'll probably meet some folks from Traverse City here. This lake is so wonderful. A magnificent sight of picturesque Varney Hill is available from Davis Lake, and Cycle-Moore       is a great local campground. You'll find a gorgeous lake called Horseshoe Lake near Davis Lake, and Mistwood Golf Course is a delightful golf course close by. Don't miss out on a visit to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore since you're here at Davis Lake; if you came for an overnight stay Lime Lake Campground is a perfect location to camp. A perfect close by hotel is Crystal Mountain Resort and Spa, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes                  of close by Crystal Mountain. Davis Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; throughout September this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Boardman River next to Davis Lake. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Davis Lake; the night is somewhat cooler of course, commonly in the 50's.
