It's always fun to stop by Davis Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn, and Irish Lake is a great lake nearby. The yearly precipitation here at Davis Lake is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest. If you came to camp Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground is a perfect site to do that, and if you come at the right time of year, Sturgeon River - West Branch offers some fine whitewater.

| | What a spot this is for outdoors people. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Davis Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lower Dam Lake Campground is a magnificent site for that, and do take a hike on the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails. At Davis Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's.
