Davies Lake is a nice lake to visit. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. Not far from Davies Lake, you'll stumble on Pole Creek Lake which is a pretty lake, and why not camp at Hovey Lake Campground if you're here at Davies Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area; this is a popular spot for people from Escanaba. A trip to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is recommended; some of the water close by flows, like Cherry Creek. This lake is so wonderful. There is a glorious hiking trail near Davies Lake called the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail, and nearby you come across the Addis Lakes Ski Trail which is a good hiking trail.
