You definitely have to adore Davies Lake. Camping is available at Hovey Lake Campground, and obviously Cherry Creek flows through this area. Au Train River is a good whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Davies Lake, and if you've had enough of Davies Lake, Rielly Lake is close by. Do pay       a visit to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore since you're here at Davies Lake, and a delightful nearby hotel is Munising - Days Inn. If you need a site to stay Super 8 Motel - Munising/Wetmore Area is a delightful choice, and there's good hiking along the Haymeadow Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant place to camp here at Davies Lake is Au Train Lake Campground; while you're here you will meet lots of folks from nearby Escanaba. Summertime highs                  at Davies Lake typically tend to be in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Davies Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. There are good places to discover along the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail, naturally you could also go to Saul Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful.
