     Gotta ski! Porcupine Mountain is a great location to do that, and in case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch. Sparrow Rapids Campground is a good local campground, and Duck Lake is a magnificent lake close by. The North Country National Scenic Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to Davidson Lakes, and a beautiful lake like Jack Pine Lake is a fine spot to explore.  
   A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Davidson Lakes; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is February.
If only every location had this much outdoors cool things, what a great planet it would be. Summertime highs at Davidson Lakes generally tend to be in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's, and night lows through the wintertime for Davidson Lakes
 
               tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Davidson Lakes is a good spot to visit for more than one day, Bob Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a good spot to camp nearby; don't forget to take a glorious little visit to Beaver Creek.
