Yeah, come here to Dam Lake for a great time. You'll discover a delightful lake called Cranberry Lake near Dam Lake, and Hiawatha Resort       and Campground is a splendid campground nearby. On a wonderful day at Dam Lake you can take a hike along the Bay De Noe Grand Island Trail, and hey, Camp R Creek is a great local stream. What would winter be without some skiing at Gladstone Ski Park, and if you're looking for a great journey, Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is relatively near. Through the warmest time of the year at Dam Lake highs are usually in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. During                  the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; during the dark hours in the wintertime at Dam Lake temperatures fall to the 0's. An average amount of rainfall falls at Dam Lake; through September this area sees the most rain while February is generally the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Hovey Lake Campground is a brilliant location to camp.
