If you want a glorious time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Cub Lake. Gotta ski! Skyline Ski Slide is a great spot to do that, and Cub Lake is not the only spot nearby, Mallard Lake is a nearby lake. Dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Kalkaska, and a glorious spot to camp here at Cub Lake is Camp Tanuga. During       the warmest time of the year here at Cub Lake, high temperatures generally get into the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are typically in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Cub Lake are in the 0's. Cub Lake gets a typical amount of annual precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least                  moisture. This lake is so wonderful.
