Cub Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Eagle Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Anvil Lake Trail System. Cub Lake is a good location of typical rain; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. At Cub       Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the winter are mostly in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Cub Lake. There's whitewater on Ontonagon River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River is a great site to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Cub Lake, you could also pop by beautiful Fawn Lake, and if you need a place                  to stay Wild Eagle Lodge is a magnificent choice.
