Island Lake is a lovely stream that is worth checking out; if you're here you can take a hike along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. Stay the night at Wide Water Campground, and the Addis Lakes Ski Trail is a splendid hiking trail close by. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Munising, and if the weather is fine, you can go for a hike along the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail. Crow Lake gets a typical amount       of yearly rainfall; the wettest month of the year is generally September, that's the one that rains the most, and February on the other hand is the driest.
