All the outdoors fun things next to Crossbill Lake will keep you coming back again and again. There's so much to do here at Crossbill Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ash Campground is a tremendous site for that, and a lake close by is Crane Lake. Wild Eagle Lodge is a delightful site to get       some rest, and get soaked paddling on Ontonagon River. All through the warm months here at Crossbill Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 70's; the overnight is quite cooler of course, generally in the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's; overnight lows in the-10's for Crossbill Lake. From a precipitation point of view Crossbill Lake is a reasonably normal place; August is the month that gets the most rain while                  February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Crossbill Lake you can take a hike along the Alligator Eye Trail, and drift down the rapids of Ontonagon River - South Branch in a kayak.
