This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Elk Ridge Golf Course is a great way to kill some time, and you can stay the night at Shady Acres Campground. There's so much to do here at Crooked Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Mio Pine Acres Campground is a fine place for that, needless to say you could also pop by Little Grass Lake if you're here; it's       not far at all. For the duration of the days of summer at Crooked Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Crooked Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. After a long day outdoors Wayside Cabins is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Crooked Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through August; February                  is when it's the driest.
