This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Country Inn, and Marquette is a glorious local ski area. The Holyoke Trail offers hiking at its best; Escanaba River - Middle Branch has a magnificent whitewater paddling spot nearby. A normal amount of rain falls here at Crooked       Lake; through the month of September you get the most rain around here, and February is when it's the driest. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Crooked Lake. You're in all probability interested in lakes, Bass Lake is one of those nearby; a delightful location to camp here at Crooked Lake is Country Village RV Park. High temperatures at Crooked Lake through the long summer days are in the 70's while nighttime lows are regularly in the 50's.                  The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Crooked Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. This is a glorious area for people who like lakes.
