There's so much to do here at Crooked Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Porcupine Campground is a delightful spot for that. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Ontonagon River - Middle Branch, and if you need a place to stay Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River is a pleasant choice. All       through the summertime at Crooked Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's; nighttime lows through the winter for Crooked Lake tend to be in the-10's. If you come at the right time of year, Ontonagon River offers some perfect whitewater, and Wild Eagle Lodge is a fine spot to get some rest. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at                  Crooked Lake. A lake close by is Jay Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Squirrel Campground, and golf can be played at Gateway Golf Club.
