Skab Lake is a lake close by; you can hit the slopes at Swiss Valley close by. Granger Koa Kampground is a great campground nearby, and swamps like Long Lake in the vicinity of Crooked Lake make for glorious places to stop at. A typical amount of rainfall falls here at Crooked Lake; September is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is February. Nearby lakes? Sure, Gray Lake is       in close proximity to Crooked Lake, and dry warm beds await you at The Morris Inn. This place, Crooked Lake, it definitely has so much outdoors cool stuff. Crooked Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, South Bend East KOA is a great place to camp nearby, and a round of golf at nearby Garver Lake Golf Course is a glorious way to kill some time. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend                  East Race, and if you need a location to stay Baymont Inn & Suites Dowagiac is a magnificent choice. All through the warmest time of the year, highs generally are in the 80's at Crooked Lake; the overnight is rather cooler of course, generally in the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's, and after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Crooked Lake sink into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.
