A visit to Crofoot Lake is always a good idea. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Crofoot Lake. Through the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. Highs throughout the winter are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Crofoot Lake. This location is so good, just explore all the amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Crofoot Lake. Briar Hill Golf Course is a glorious golf course close by; some close by water includes Cold Creek.

| | This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Big Rapids Super 8 Motel, and you can go for a hike on the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail.
There are other places here than Crofoot Lake, for example Toft Lake, and magnificent hiking is available along the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail. If you need a place to stay Holiday Inn Big Rapids, Mi is a great choice, and you can stay the night at Leisure Time RV Park.

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
