    If you like lakes and you're in this part of Michigan you can check out Crockery Lake. At Crockery Lake you always meet someone from Holland-Grand Haven, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Cranberry Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Sleep Inn , Inn & Suites. Lakes are perfect; Mud Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Crockery Lake. An average amount of rainfall falls at Crockery Lake; August is the month that  
   gets the most rain; February is when it's the driest.
Going for a hike on the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and since you're here you can play some golf at Moss Ridge Golf Club. During the warm days of summer at Crockery Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the wintertime for Crockery Lake
 
               tend to be in the 10's. So many amusing things to do at Crockery Lake, so little time. Salmon Run Campground Canoes is a tremendous campground nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Crockery Lake is a splendid place to visit for more than one day, Chinook Camping is a splendid place to camp nearby, and after a long day outdoors Rodeway Inn Coopersville is a magnificent place to spend a night or two.

I'm currently doing research and looking for information on the family..my Grandmother in particular. She died approx. in 1930. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.

Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.

We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.

We do offer a car spotting service to take your vehicles down river while you boat, canoe, or kayak the river. We also provide transportation services for individuals and their own equipment for a reasonable fee.
