Cranberry Lake, Ogemaw County, Michigan     User input for Cranberry Lake, Ogemaw County, Michigan: I was just at Cranberry Lake on July 7, 2007. It was beautiful. I went fishing and caught many fish. I also went jet sking, paddle-boating, on a pontoon boat and fished off the dock. The view was amaizing, espcially the sunset. A typical amount of precipitation falls here at Cranberry Lake; through the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is frequently the driest month. After a long day outdoors Quality Inn West Branch is a wonderful location to spend a night or two, and there are brilliant sites to look at along the Sterling Truck Trail. Just can't get enough of Cranberry Lake.       This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Lost Lake, and Lost Valley Campgrounds is a magnificent local campground. Getting to Au Gres Creek from Cranberry Lake is easy, and Driftwood is a great campground nearby. Summer at Cranberry Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's                  while the cold winter nights at Cranberry Lake are in the 0's.
