Coyote Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. Musque Lake is a good lake next to Coyote Lake. There's so much to do here at Coyote Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Raccoon Campground is a good place       for that. Get covered with water paddling on Ontonagon River; a delightful close by hotel is Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River. And if that's not enough, there's lots more to do close to Coyote Lake. There are other locations here than Coyote Lake, for example Crane Lake, and after a long day outdoors Wild Eagle Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. If the weather is perfect here at Coyote Lake, you can go for a hike along the Alligator Eye Trail.                  This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Ontonagon River - South Branch in a kayak, and if you're here you can take a hike along the North Country National Scenic Trail. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Coyote Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's.
