Rocks Golf & Country Club is a golf course close by. Alger Falls is a good local attraction; AmericInn Munising is a great location to get some rest.
There is a perfect hiking trail close to Cox Pond called the Big Island Lake
Portage Canoe Trail, as expected you could also pop by Three Lakes if you're here; it's not far at all. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Munising; camping is available at Hiawatha Resort and Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Buckhorn Otter Lake Campground is always a magnificent experience.
