A common amount of rainfall falls here at Council Lake; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is generally the driest month. A quick trip to Island Lake in the vicinity of Council Lake is a perfect idea; Wide Water Campground is a splendid campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.       If you need a location to stay Super 8 Motel - Munising Wetmore Area is a magnificent choice, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Council Lake. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a very wonderful place to take a look at in close proximity to Council Lake, and you can have a fine hiking adventure along the Valley Spur Ski Trail. High temperatures at Council Lake during the long summer                  days are in the 70's while night lows are typically in the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Council Lake tend to be in the 0's. You'll hit upon a lovely lake called Bar Lake near Council Lake; lakes are such peaceful locations, why not check out Scout Lake. This lake is so wonderful.
