Corssbill Lake gets a normal amount of yearly precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August, and February meanwhile is the driest month. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Ontonagon River - South Branch, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Alligator Eye Trail. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Corssbill Lake. Going for a hike on the North Country       National Scenic Trail is always a great adventure. If you need a place to stay Tamarack Timbers Cottages is a perfect choice; if you came for an overnight stay Porcupine Campground is a splendid site to camp. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Ontonagon River, and camping is available at Ash Campground. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Corssbill Lake. For the period of the                  moonlight hours it's ordinarily in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Corssbill Lake temperatures fall to the-10's.
