Camping at Sparrow Rapids Campground is always a pleasant experience, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Corpse Pond; Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail is a magnificent local trail. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is nice on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch, and Bell Pond is a nearby lake that you could stop by. Corpse Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and February

| | on the other hand is the driest. While you're here at Corpse Pond, you could also pop by lovely Avant Pond.
Corpse Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Marion Lake Campground and Picnic Area is a brilliant local campground; Wild Eagle Lodge is a delightful site to get some rest.
