Ostrander Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is a magnificent place nearby. Corner Lake gets a typical amount of rainfall; September is the wettest month with most rain while February is typically the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Munising is a wonderful choice, and if you get bored of Corner Lake you could also have a look at       nearby Pike Lake. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Corner Lake has it all. Corner Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Hiawatha Resort and Campground is a nice local campground; pleasant hiking is available along the Haywire Grade ORV Trail. Dry warm beds await you at AmericInn Munising, and don't leave Corner Lake without first going for a hike along the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail. A nice site to camp here at Corner                  Lake is Wide Water Campground. All through the summer at Corner Lake highs are frequently in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. Through the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Corner Lake temperatures drop to the 0's.
