Holiday Inn Express MANISTIQUE is a wonderful spot to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Big Island Lake       Portage Canoe Trail is always a tremendous adventure. So much cool stuff close to Cornell Lake, completely mind-blowing. There are magnificent spots to explore along the High Rollways Truck Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Cornell Lake. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Cornell Lake are in the 0's.
