So many amusing things to do at Cooper Lake, so little time. Go for a hike on the Holyoke Trail, and Horseshoe Lake Camp Grounds is a great local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A great nearby hotel is Best Western Country Inn, and get your heart pumping on the good whitewater of Escanaba       River - Middle Branch. Why not camp at Country Village RV Park if you're here at Cooper Lake, and Cooper Lake is not the only site close by, Lake Bancroft is a close by lake. Cooper Lake is a good place of common precipitation; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Cooper Lake, high temperatures frequently get into the 70's, and                  through the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are regularly in the 20's; after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Cooper Lake sink into the 0's. After a long day outdoors Cedar Motor Inn is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and if you're here you will meet lots of folks from close by Marquette. A lake nearby is Rock Lake, and a round of golf at nearby Wawonowin Country Club is a great way to kill some time.
