The amount of precipitation that falls at Coontail Lake is close to the national average; August is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Coontail Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Ste. Kathryn Campground, and Pequet Lake is a nice lake nearby.       This place, Coontail Lake, it completely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Stay the night at Perch Lake Campground, and why not stop by nearby Sauna Creek since you're here at Coontail Lake. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Coontail Lake during the summer are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Coontail                  Lake temperatures dip to the 0's. Going for a hike on the Pelkie Creek Hunter Walking Trails is always a delightful adventure, and everybody close by loves skiing at Brule Mountain. Ski Brule is a good local ski area, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn is a splendid site to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful.
