A lake nearby is Wile Lake, and while you're here you can take a hike along the North Country National Scenic Trail. Sawmill Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by; you can stay the night at Driftwood Valley Campground. Summer at Coon Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 20's with winter       lows in the 10's overnight here at Coon Lake. The yearly rain here at Coon Lake is about average; September is when you get the most rain here; the driest month of the year is February. There's just no way anyone can get bored here at Coon Lake.
