    Beautiful Coon Lake has much to offer visitors. Any time is a delightful time at Coon Lake if you like the outdoors. Boardman River is a delightful whitewater spot close to Coon Lake. From a rainfall point of view Coon Lake is a pretty normal location; throughout September this area sees the most rain while February is typically the driest month. All through the summer months here at Coon Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 80's with nighttime lows in the 50's.  
   The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's while Coon Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's.
SUPER 8 MOTEL - TRAVERSE CITY is a glorious location to get some rest, and enjoy a round of golf at Lochen Heath Golf Club. While you're here at Coon Lake, you could also explore picturesque High Lake; Timber Ridge RV and Recreation Resort is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful.
