After a long day outdoors Hilltop Motel is a nice spot to spend a night or two; unsurprisingly Nelligan Creek flows through this area. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Coon Lake while night lows are usually in the 50's. Daytime highs throughout the winter are in the 20's with temperatures at Coon Lake dipping down into the 0's throughout winter nights.
