That right there is a lot already, but it goes on; Coombs Lake has it all. Going for a hike along the Devils Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Of Alpena is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. Summer at Coombs Lake arrives       with high temperatures in the 70's; the nighttime is a bit cooler of course, generally in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Coombs Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A splendid close by hotel is Days Inn Alpena, and Fletcher Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Hiking along the Norway Ridge Trail is magnificent fun; while you're here, you could also explore stunning Beaver                  Lake.
