Mink Creek is a tremendous place to check out; if you haven’t been to Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, you must schedule some time for it while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Coolaw Lakes is right by the Haymeadow Falls Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Munising Wetmore Area. Do stop       at Billy Good Lake next to Coolaw Lakes, it's a wonderful lake, and Hiawatha Resort and Campground is a perfect campground nearby. And that's not all you can do here at Coolaw Lakes. Take a hike on the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail, and you'll hit upon a striking lake called Cache Lake. From a rainfall point of view Coolaw Lakes is a pretty typical site; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's                  the driest. For the duration of the summertime months here at Coolaw Lakes, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures all through the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Coolaw Lakes descend into the 0's.
