Cookson Lake gets a common amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is September while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Most sites are grassy and have a mix of sun and shade and are mostly level with some having pads for the large RV's; there are pull throughs too. We welcome big rigs, tents and anything inbetween! We have some excellent spots to situate a group camping atmosphere or family reunion.
