This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Taylor's Beach Campground is a perfect site to do that, and after a long day outdoors Baymont Inn & Suites Howell is a fine place to spend a night or two. The       annual rain here at Cook Lake is about average; most of the rain falls through September, and the driest month is February. Lake Cohoctah is a nearby lake that you could pop by, and whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Red Cedar River. Mount Brighton has pleasant slopes and a friendly staff, and a lake close by is Mud Lake. Cook Lake beyond doubt is in the middle of a striking outdoors paradise. If you're a golfer                  then a good nearby course is DAMA Golf Club; dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites HOWELL. Summertime at Cook Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's.
