After a long day outdoors SpringHill Suites Grand Rapids North is a good site to spend a night or two, and if you came for an overnight stay Lakeside Camp Park is a good location to camp. At Conover Lake through the long summer days highs are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and night lows all through the wintertime for Conover Lake tend to be in the 0's. The skiing

| | at Cannonsburg is good, and a great close by hotel is Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North. Little Mud Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit, and camping is available at Duke Creek Recreation-camping. Now, you may assume that's a lot but there's even more fun stuff to do here at Conover Lake. Don't leave Conover Lake without first going for a hike along the Hungerford Cross Country Ski Trail, and while you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at | |

Whitefish Lake Golf Club. Conover Lake gets a common amount of rain; September is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Baptist Lake, and the friendly folks of Grand Rapids-Wyoming like to hang out nearby.

Croton Dam Float Trips

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
