Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a delightful place to get some rest, and in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Perch River. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Cone Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Cone Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Baraga Lakeside Inn. You'll wish for more hours

| | in a day to enjoy all the cool stuff at Cone Lake. Whitewater paddling is magnificent on Sturgeon River, and there are other places here than Cone Lake, for example Wildcat Lake.

and lakes are such peaceful places, why not visit Buddle Lake. Head up to Brule Mountain and strap some skis to your feet, and while you're here, you could explore Holmes Creek.
