The amount of rain that falls at Colvin Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 South Bend; if you come at the right time of year, East Race offers some great whitewater. If you're here at Colvin Lake and you like golf, you can visit Brookwood Golf Course, and       there are other places here than Colvin Lake, for example Madron Lake. Fuller's Clear Lake Resort is a good campground nearby, and there's some flowing water nearby, Grey Run Drain is a stream you can check out during your stay. Summer at Colvin Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are commonly in the 60's. Throughout the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's; winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Colvin Lake. Not                  enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. Here at Colvin Lake there are plenty of folks from Niles-Benton Harbor. Lakes? Sure, Clarks Lake is around here.
