Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is quite next to Coattail Lake. During the months       of summer, highs typically are in the 70's at Coattail Lake. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Coattail Lake are in the 0's.
