Just can't get enough of Coattail Lake. Hiking along the Valley Spur Ski Trail is nice fun, and lakes are such serene spots, why not check out Byers Lake. Coattail Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Island Lake Campground is a great local campground, and the Big Island Lake Portage Canoe Trail offers hiking at its best. Coattail Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; September is when you get the most       rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Throughout the summertime months here at Coattail Lake, high temperatures mostly reach the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's; overnight lows at Coattail Lake throughout the winter commonly plunge into the 0's. Coattail Lake is right by the Haywire Grade ORV Trail.
