Clinton Lake is right by the Norway Ridge Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Alpena-Days Inn. All through the warm months highs here at Clinton Lake get into the 70's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Throughout the wintertime the highs are mostly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Clinton Lake. A nice site to camp here at Clinton Lake is Campers Cove RV and Campground, and if you're       popping by from Alpena, you won't be the only one. From a rain point of view Clinton Lake is a rather typical location; most of the rain falls through August; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Thunder Bay RV Park and Campground, and if you need a site to stay Best Western Of Alpena is a fine choice.
