If you are in Montmorency county it's always a good idea to stop by Clear Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Treetops Resort. Packer Creek is a stunning stream that is worth going to, and Clear Lake is a nice place to camp, Shady Acres Campground is a nice place. For the duration of the warm months highs here at Clear Lake get into the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 50's. This lake is so wonderful. For you golfers we recommend close by Elk Ridge Golf Course; after a long day outdoors Wayside Cabins is a splendid site to spend a night or two. From a precipitation point of view Clear Lake is a rather normal place; August is when you get the most rain here, and February is the month with the least moisture. Lakes? Sure, Muskellunge Lake is around here, and soar down the rapids of Ocqueoc River in a kayak.
