Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Chrishaven Lake; Clear Lake is a site with many visitors from Grand Rapids-Wyoming. If you came for an overnight stay Lakeside Camp Park is a glorious location to camp, and you can never get enough of the magnificent skiing at Cannonsburg. For you golfers we recommend close by The Rogue Golf Club; if you need a site to stay SpringHill Suites Grand Rapids North is a fine choice.

| | This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Duke Creek Recreation-camping, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Suites Grand Rapids North. All the outdoors exciting stuff right next door to Clear Lake will keep you coming back over and over. Go for a hike on the Newaygo County Snowmobile Trail; as expected, this is a perfect area for folks who like lakes, Spring Lake is a lake close by. when you get the most rain here; February on the other hand is the driest. Through the long summer days at Clear Lake highs are mostly in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Clear Lake tend to be in the 0's.

Croton Dam Float Trips

Rustic Camping also available on a limited basis. As of April 15, 2009 we have two seasonal electric sites available for rent this season. Rate is $700. 00 for the year. Our camping rates nightly are $12. 00 for non-power sites and $15. 00 for electrical sites. No running water/hand pump. No dump station. Outhouses and porta- potties in the busy summer season.
Excellent smallmouth & largemouth bass, northern pike, and walleye fishing on the backwaters to Croton Dam and also north about 5 miles on the backwaters of Hardy Dam. Spring steelhead runs, rainbow & german brown trout, and fall salmon runs down on the river itself below the dam.
We do not offer river services for the Little Muskegon River.
