Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Ontonagon River, and after a long day outdoors Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Camping at Raccoon Campground is always a tremendous experience; Albino Lake is a nearby lake that you could have a look at. Clear Lake is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Bobcat Campground       is a glorious local campground, and Wild Eagle Lodge is a good location to get some rest. Yep, outdoors fun stuff to do are in fact abundant here at Clear Lake. There's whitewater on Ontonagon River - Middle Branch for all you adrenaline junkies. For the period of the summer months at Clear Lake temperatures are mostly in the 70's, and the nighttime is a little cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. High temperatures all through the winter are normally                  in the 10's with temperatures at Clear Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. The amount of precipitation that falls at Clear Lake is close to the national average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; the driest month of the year is February. This lake is so wonderful.
