     A lake close by is Kings Pond, and Fox River Campground is a good campground nearby. Throughout the long summer days highs here at Clear Creek Trout Pond reach the 70's. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Clear Creek Trout Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Newberry is a perfect spot to spend a night or two. The yearly rain  
   here at Clear Creek Trout Pond is about average; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month.

Most sites are grassy and have a mix of sun and shade and are mostly level with some having pads for the large RV's; there are pull throughs too.  We welcome big rigs, tents and anything inbetween!  We have some excellent spots to situate a group camping atmosphere or family reunion.  If you are a bird watcher, we are 3 miles south of Seney National Wildlife Refuge and offer canoe/kayak rentals through the refuge. Pets are welcomed with courtesy rules enforced.  Reservations are welcomed...
